Free Morgan Foundation

In July 2010 a young orca was found emaciated and alone off the coast of the Netherlands.  A permit was issued for her to be rescued, rehabilitated and released.  The first two events happened, but she was never released.  Instead, she was shipped off to an entertainment park where she is forced to perform in circus-like shows.  Dr Ingrid Visser co-founded the Free Morgan Foundation to document her plight and to continue to fight for her freedom.  Learn more about why keeping orca in captivity is such an issue, via the dedicated website of the Free Morgan Foundation.  You can also follow Morgan on her social media accounts (#FreeMorgan).
